FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 159 as introduced could increase the obligations of the State General Fund by an undetermined amount if the Judicial Resources Allocation Commission determines, after January 1, 2026, that additional judgeships are needed based upon factors to be considered in the Judicial Actual Caseload Study (based on all types of cases rather than criminal only) established pursuant to this bill.
