FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 83 as passed the House of Representatives would allow members of the Prepaid Affordable College Tuition (PACT) Program Board, or any committee established by the PACT Board, to attend meetings virtually which could reduce reimbursement expenses, per diem and travel, paid from Board funds by an estimated $160 per member for each board meeting attended virtually. In addition, this bill could decrease the obligations of the State General Fund by an estimated $250 per legislative member for each board meeting attended virtually or meetings conducted on days when the Legislature is in session.
