FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 223 as passed the House of Representatives authorizes the governing body of Class 7 municipalities to pay members of its utility boards a director's fee, in an amount set by the governing body, which could increase or decrease the obligations of the municipality by an undetermined amount dependent upon the difference in the compensation set by the governing body and the compensation otherwise received by the board members. This bill will not otherwise affect state or local funding.
