Bill Title: To amend Sections 16-13B-1, Section 16-13B-4, and 16-13B-5, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to competitive bidding on contracts of city and county boards of education; to increase the minimum amount for contracts subject to competitive bid from $15,000 to $25,000; and in connection therewith would have as its purpose or effect the requirement of a new or increased expenditure of local funds within the meaning of Section 111.05 of the Constitution of Alabama of 2022.
