Summary

Relating to conserving energy resources and reducing the state's energy costs by contacting organizations that represent state employees to determine if the organizations will agree to the exchange of an established annual paid state holiday for a new annual paid state holiday on the day after Thanksgiving Day, thereby allowing certain state-owned or state-leased buildings to be closed for a period of four consecutive days; and requesting the adoption of heating and electricity conservation measures for use when certain state-owned or state-leased buildings are closed.
