SENATE BILL NO. 754 Offered January 22, 2016 A BILL to authorize the Department of General Services to convey certain real property to Clark County. ---------- Patron-- Vogel ---------- Referred to Committee for Courts of Justice ----------

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. That the Department of General Services, with the approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized to convey to Clark County, for the nominal consideration of $1, a parcel of land with improvements located at 201 Ray of Hope Lane, White Post, Virginia 22663, previously used by the Virginia Department of Corrections as the White Post Correctional Unit.

§2. The conveyance shall be made in a form approved by the Attorney General. The appropriate officials of the Commonwealth are hereby authorized to prepare, execute, and deliver such deed and other documents as may be necessary to accomplish the conveyance.
