SENATE BILL NO. 1482

A BILL to prohibit the Secretary of Health and Human Resources
from applying for, accepting, or renewing any waiver of the time limit for assistance
for certain individuals receiving benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition
Assistance Program.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. §1. That the Secretary of Health and Human Resources shall not apply for, accept, or renew any statewide or local waiver issued pursuant to 7 C.F.R. §273.24 of the eligibility requirements for participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program established pursuant to 7 U.S.C. §2015(o).
