A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 24.2-307.1, relating to elections; precinct requirements for certain towns.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 24.2-307.1 as follows:

§24.2-307.1. Precinct requirements for county precincts containing certain towns.

Notwithstanding the provisions of §24.2-307, the governing body of any county containing a town wholly surrounded by the combination of a base of the United States armed forces and water shall establish by ordinance a separate county precinct to be wholly contained within the town.
