[S 1059]
Approved March 21, 2023

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. That in accordance with and as evidence of approval of the General Assembly, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (the Department) is hereby authorized to grant a permanent, nonexclusive easement for ingress and egress (Easement) to Front Royal Parcel 1, LLC (Grantee) over and across the portion of the Shenandoah River State Park (Park) that adjoins the lands of the Grantee located in Warren County, identified as Tax Map Numbers 36-26 and 36-31. The purpose of this Easement is to covey a right-of-way on the location of the existing State Route 737 (Thunderbird Road) to the Grantee to provide access to the lands of the Grantee bisected by the Park. The final location of the Easement may vary as necessary to connect the lands of the Grantee bisected by the Park.

§2. The granting and conveying of this Easement shall be made upon the terms the Department deems proper, with the approval of the Department of General Services and the Secretary of Administration, and in a form approved by the Attorney General.
