HOUSE BILL NO. 958 Offered January 8, 2014 Prefiled January 8, 2014 A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Article 2 of Chapter 3 of Title 24.2 a section numbered 24.2-304.04, relating to technical adjustments of certain House of Delegates district boundaries. ---------- Patron-- Lingamfelter ---------- Committee Referral Pending ----------

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 2 of Chapter 3 of Title 24.2 a section numbered 24.2-304.04 as follows:

§24.2-304.04. House of Delegates districts.

Subject to the provisions of subsections A, B, and C of §24.2-304.03, the following House of Delegates districts shall be comprised as follows:

Thirty-first. Part of Fauquier County comprised of the Casanova (103), Catlett (102), Kettle Run (101), and New Baltimore (502) Precincts; and part of Prince William County comprised of the Ashland (309), Beville (205), Enterprise (608), Forest Park (310), King (206), Lodge (207), Montclair (308), Park (109), Pattie (305), Powell (211), Saunders (201), and Washington-Reid (306) Precincts and parts of the Benton (203), Godwin (603), and Henderson (307) Precincts.

Fifty-second. Part of Prince William County comprised of the Bel Air (606), Civic Center (604), Dale (601), Dumfries (301), Freedom (609), Graham Park (303), Kilby (707), Library (702), Lynn (703), Minnieville (605), Neabsco (602), Occoquan (502), and Potomac (302) Precincts and parts of the Godwin (603) and Henderson (307) Precincts.

All other House of Delegates districts shall be comprised as provided in § 24.2-304.03.

2. That the first enactment changes the assignment of certain census blocks to House of Delegates districts as follows:

In Prince William County, blocks 511539012032025, 511539012032015, 11539004073002, 511539012032017, 511539004073005, 511539012032016, 511539004074013, 511539004074008, 511539012032014, 511539004073003, 511539012032012, 511539004073007, 511539004073006, 511539004073000, 511539004073001, 511539004073004, 511539012032013, 511539004072004, and 511539012032010, are reassigned from District 31 to District 52.

In Prince William County, blocks 511539010112019, 511539010112004, 511539010112024, 511539010112023, 511539004081000, 511539010112027, 511539010112005, 511539010112026, 511539010112008, 511539004081001, 511539010112006, 511539010112025, and 511539010112007 are reassigned from District 52 to District 31.
