A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section
numbered 33.2-365.1, relating to allocation of funds for certain contract fees
for railroad right-of-way access.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 33.2-365.1 as follows:
§33.2-365.1. Allocation of funds for certain contract fees for railroad right-of-way access.
Funds for contract fees paid by the Virginia Railway Express for access to the rights-of-way of CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern Corporation, and the National Railroad Passenger Corporation shall be allocated yearly by the Department of Rail and Public Transportation and shall cover 84 percent of the total costs.
