Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 28.2-303.1 as follows:

§ 28.2-303.1. Size limits for summer flounder; Commission to adopt regulations.

The Commission shall adopt regulations that establish the minimum size limit for the taking of summer flounder by hook and line, which shall be the same for persons holding a commercial hook-and-line license and persons fishing recreationally with hook and line.
