Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 1 of Chapter 9 of Title 15.2 a section numbered 15.2-926.3 as follows:

§15.2-926.3. Local regulation of certain aircraft.

Any locality may by ordinance regulate the use of privately owned, unmanned, autonomous aircraft within its boundaries. Such ordinance may place reasonable restrictions on the time, place, and manner of use of such aircraft.
