A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section
numbered 22.1-4.4, relating to high school student transcript contents; certain
test records.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 22.1-4.4 as follows:
§22.1-4.4. High school student transcript contents; certain test records.
No high school student transcript shall be required to include any test record, including scores, of any standardized test used for the purpose of college admissions, including any SAT or ACT test but excluding any Standards of Learning test, except upon the request of a high school student or the student's parent that such a test record be included on the student's high school transcript.
