| WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, Aubrey Daniell | ||
| and Evangeline Jacob made a lifetime commitment to one another, | ||
| and their mutual trust has been amply rewarded, for they recently | ||
| celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Aubrey and Evangeline were married on June 8, | ||
| 1952, at Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg, and they continue to | ||
| live just seven miles from their hometowns of Florence and | ||
| Andice; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Much has changed in the years of their marriage, | ||
| yet Mr. and Mrs. Daniell have remained strong in their devotion, | ||
| as they have continued to cherish the traditional values that | ||
| helped inspire their bond long ago; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The couple has been blessed with a wonderful | ||
| family; their four children, seven grandchildren, and six | ||
| great-grandchildren are a source of much pride and joy; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In celebration of their anniversary, Aubrey and | ||
| Evangeline gathered with family members for two days at their | ||
| lake house on Lake LBJ; they are a beloved couple, and the love | ||
| they share is truly an inspiration to all who know them; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Aubrey | ||
| and Evangeline Daniell on their 65th wedding anniversary; and, | ||
| be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| them as a memento of this special day. | ||
