	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 753
	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
	recognize Alyssa Garrett of Killeen on the occasion of her
	graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf; and

	WHEREAS, Alyssa's graduation is the culmination of
	diligent study in a curriculum designed to challenge her and
	broaden her knowledge; she is celebrating this milestone in
	commencement exercises on May 30, 2019; and

	WHEREAS, Alyssa can take pride in having earned her diploma
	from the Texas School for the Deaf; the school is respected in
	academic circles in Texas, as well as nationally, for its quality
	of instruction and dedication to excellence in teaching; and

	WHEREAS, A talented and hardworking student, Alyssa has
	been an honor roll student throughout her high school years, and
	she has been an active member of the Latino Club; she looks
	forward to pursuing a career as a midwife; and

	WHEREAS, Alyssa can face the future with confidence that
	her proven abilities, learning skills, and acquired knowledge
	will hold her in good stead for whatever vocation she chooses;
	now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th
	Legislature, hereby congratulate Alyssa Garrett on her
	graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to her
	best wishes for the future; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
	her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
