	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 698
	WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been
	enhanced by a great and enduring love, Michael and Margaret
	Moulton of Scroggins celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary
	on February 25, 2017; and

	WHEREAS, Michael Paul Moulton and the former Margaret
	Murline Kindle were united in matrimony at New Liberty Missionary
	Baptist Church in Garland in 1967; over the years, their family
	has grown to include their 6 children, as well as their 16
	grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and

	WHEREAS, Valued residents of the Scroggins community for
	the past dozen years, Mr. Moulton is retired from a notable
	career teaching computer math at Garland High School, and
	Mrs. Moulton has dedicated herself to her home and family
	throughout their marriage; and

	WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past
	half century, this devoted husband and wife have remained
	constant in their commitment to each other, and the strength of
	their love has enabled them to meet life's challenges and
	opportunities with grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
	Legislature, hereby congratulate Michael and Margaret Moulton on
	their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
	wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
	Mr. and Mrs. Moulton as an expression of high regard from the
	Texas Senate.
