WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
recognize the Hillier Funeral Home, which is celebrating the | ||
grand opening of its new facility at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on | ||
May 6, 2015; and | ||
WHEREAS, Hillier Funeral Home was established in 1918 by | ||
Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hillier; their son, C. Russell Hillier, | ||
carried on the family business for many years; and | ||
WHEREAS, For nearly a century, the staff at Hillier Funeral | ||
Home have provided conscientious, professional service to | ||
families in times of need; in 1998, they began serving clients at | ||
their newly opened state-of-the-art facility in Bryan, and they | ||
are now celebrating the opening of an additional facility in | ||
College Station; and | ||
WHEREAS, Hillier Funeral Home has maintained a longstanding | ||
reputation for excellence, and the professional staff at the new | ||
facility will carry on a proud tradition of dependable service | ||
and a friendly atmosphere; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th | ||
Legislature, hereby commend Hillier Funeral Home on its history | ||
of exemplary service in the community and extend congratulations | ||
to all on the opening of the new facility in College Station; and, | ||
be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the | ||
funeral home as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
