SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 656
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  join the citizens of San Antonio in celebrating the grand opening
  of WellCare; and
 
         WHEREAS, WellCare is a national leader in the field of
  managed care, with more than 2.5 million members; its mission is
  to enhance its members' health and quality of life, work with
  providers and government agencies to provide quality,
  cost-effective health care solutions, and create a rewarding and
  enriching environment for its associates; and
 
         WHEREAS, In carrying out its work, WellCare promotes the
  values of partnership, integrity, accountability, and teamwork
  so that those eligible for government-sponsored health care can
  receive all the benefits to which they are entitled; and
 
         WHEREAS, WellCare has had a profound impact on the delivery
  of health care in San Antonio, and the opening of its new facility
  is a reflection of its commitment and dedication to its members;
  now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
  Legislature, hereby commend WellCare on its commitment to
  quality health care and extend to its members and staff best
  wishes for a memorable ribbon-cutting ceremony for the company's
  new San Antonio facility; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
  honor of this special occasion.
