| WHEREAS, The 100th birthday of an esteemed Texan is truly | ||
| cause for celebration, and Dale Peden is marking this momentous | ||
| milestone in her life on May 26, 2023; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A longtime resident of Archer City, Mrs. Peden | ||
| was born in 1923; she is a devoted mother to her children, and she | ||
| treasures time spent in the company of her loved ones; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Dale Peden has witnessed a panorama of change over | ||
| the course of a century, and she has met life's challenges and | ||
| opportunities with dignity and grace, earning the deep | ||
| admiration of all who are privileged to know her; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th | ||
| Legislature, hereby congratulate Dale Peden on the joyous | ||
| occasion of her 100th birthday and extend to her sincere best | ||
| wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mrs. Peden as an expression of high regard from the | ||
| Texas Senate. | ||
