SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 641
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Kayline Ballard Cabe, who is retiring from the Office
  of the Comptroller of Public Accounts on April 30, 2017, after
  nine years of distinguished service; and
 
         WHEREAS, Kayline began her property tax and appraisal
  career when she joined the State Property Tax Board in 1980;
  after two years of service, she went on to work for the Capitol
  Appraisal Group for 15 years, and she later earned her
  residential appraiser's certification with the state and worked
  as an independent appraiser; and
 
         WHEREAS, Kayline joined the comptroller's office in May of
  2008 as a field appraiser in the Property Tax Assistance Division,
  and her expertise has been integral to the ongoing success of her
  department; and
 
         WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, Kayline is
  respected and admired by her colleagues, and her presence with
  the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly
  missed; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
  Legislature, hereby commend Kayline Ballard Cabe on her outstanding
  career and her many contributions to the state and extend to her
  best wishes in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
  as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
