SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 628
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Praise Christian Center World Outreach on the occasion
of its 30th anniversary, which is being celebrated April 26,
2015; and
WHEREAS, For three decades, Praise Christian Center World
Outreach has been a source of spiritual enlightenment and
guidance for the Channelview community; and
WHEREAS, Under the outstanding leadership of its pastor,
Dr. Patrick T. Randolph, the church has experienced steady growth
and has undertaken global missions, as well as many worthy
projects in the community; and
WHEREAS, Praise Christian Center World Outreach has become
an invaluable source of strength for church members during times
of bereavement and hardship and a place of joy and fellowship
during times of abundance and prosperity; and
WHEREAS, The celebration of the church's 30th anniversary
is an opportunity to reflect on its rich history and on the
ministries it has established to the benefit of countless people;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
Legislature, hereby extend best wishes to the clergy and members
of Praise Christian Center World Outreach on the joyous occasion
of its 30th anniversary; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the church as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
