| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
| recognize Susan Gudell, who is retiring April 30, 2015, after | ||
| more than 26 years of outstanding service with the Office of the | ||
| Comptroller of Public Accounts; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Susan Gudell joined the comptroller's office in 1988 | ||
| as a member of the Word Processing Division, where her co-workers | ||
| inspired her to learn computer programming; she transferred out of | ||
| the division in 1994 to work on a variety of information technology | ||
| systems, and she participated in the creation of some of the first | ||
| application security matrices; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Susan has been noted for her | ||
| superior organizational skills and her wide-ranging expertise, and | ||
| she has participated in several Technical Work Groups, including | ||
| the Multi-Platform Improvement Team; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, she has handled her many | ||
| responsibilities with exceptional dedication and efficiency; and | ||
| WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, she is respected and | ||
| admired by her colleagues, and her presence with the Office of | ||
| the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th | ||
| Legislature, hereby commend Susan Gudell on her exceptional | ||
| service to the people of Texas as an employee of the Office of the | ||
| Comptroller of Public Accounts and extend to her best wishes for | ||
| continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| her as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate. | ||
