| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
| recognize Bishop James C. Roland, who is celebrating 32 years of | ||
| service in the ministry on April 21, 2013; and | ||
| WHEREAS, | ||
| WHEREAS, With Bishop Roland's guidance, the church has | ||
| continued to expand and grow; its congregation has supported the | ||
| minister in his efforts to better serve and enlighten the | ||
| community of Houston; and | ||
| WHEREAS, | ||
| WHEREAS, Over the last 32 years, this dedicated leader has | ||
| ministered tirelessly to the spiritual and temporal needs of | ||
| innumerable Christians; inspirational and dedicated to helping | ||
| others, this man of faith has devoted his time and energy | ||
| unselfishly to the members of his church; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd | ||
| Legislature, hereby commend Bishop James C. Roland on his 32 | ||
| years of service to the ministry; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| Bishop Roland as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
