WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
recognize Rebecca Q. Cedillo, who has been selected for induction | ||
into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame for her outstanding | ||
work as a civic leader; and | ||
WHEREAS, The San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame honors those | ||
women who have contributed significantly to the San Antonio | ||
community and the Bexar County region through their | ||
accomplishments in their profession or field of service; and | ||
WHEREAS, Rebecca Cedillo serves on the Bexar | ||
County/University Health System Board of Managers, the board of | ||
trustees of SAMMinistries, and the board of trustees of Saint | ||
Mary's University; and | ||
WHEREAS, She is dedicated to the protection of natural | ||
resources, and she and her staff developed the water quality | ||
initiatives for the Edwards Aquifer and researched information | ||
for the justification studies for the San Antonio water system; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, Rebecca is highly respected for her dedication to | ||
her work, and her significant accomplishments as a civic leader | ||
serve as an inspiration to women across our state; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd | ||
Legislature, hereby commend Rebecca Q. Cedillo for her | ||
exceptional achievements and extend congratulations to her on | ||
her induction into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame; and, be | ||
it further | ||
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
