| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
| recognize Alicia Erminia Pedraza on the occasion of her 16th | ||
| birthday; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A ninth grade student at J. Frank Dobie High | ||
| School in Pasadena, Alicia will celebrate this milestone in her | ||
| life on April 9, 2011; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Alicia sings in the choir at her school, an | ||
| activity she has enjoyed for several years; she is an avid fan of | ||
| The University of Texas Longhorns and hopes to attend school | ||
| there one day; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Alicia is an exemplary young woman, and she is | ||
| deserving of recognition for this important milestone in her | ||
| life; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd | ||
| Legislature, hereby congratulate Alicia Erminia Pedraza on her | ||
| 16th birthday and extend to her best wishes for a memorable | ||
| celebration; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| her as a memento of this special occasion. | ||
