| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
| recognize Jaci Walker, the reigning Miss Texas Junior Pre-teen | ||
| 2010; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Jaci is a third grader at James and Margie Marion | ||
| Elementary School in the Allen Independent School District, | ||
| where she is an academic leader and an exemplary student; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This outstanding young lady has been an | ||
| award-winning member of her school's cheer squad and has won a | ||
| Marvelous Maverick Award for courtesy; she participates in many | ||
| extracurricular activities, including gymnastics, music, and | ||
| skating; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Jaci represented Texas with grace and enthusiasm | ||
| at the National American Miss competition in Anaheim, | ||
| California; she is truly deserving of recognition for her many | ||
| outstanding achievements; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd | ||
| Legislature, hereby commend Jaci Walker on her dedication and | ||
| hard work and extend to her best wishes for continued success in | ||
| all her future endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
