| WHEREAS, Jackson S. Riggins of Troop 405 in Georgetown has | ||
| recently been honored by the Boy Scout program for attaining the | ||
| rank of Eagle Scout; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Jackson planned, developed, and conducted a | ||
| service project that has benefited his community, and he is | ||
| recognized as an outstanding leader; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Jackson has brought great honor to himself in | ||
| earning the coveted Eagle Badge, and his family, his troop, his | ||
| community, and his state are justly proud of his great | ||
| accomplishment; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and | ||
| promise, this personable young man advanced through the ranks of | ||
| Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before | ||
| reaching Eagle Scout; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Jackson has become one of the select few who have | ||
| earned this prestigious honor, and he is a shining example to the | ||
| young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th | ||
| Legislature, hereby congratulate Jackson S. Riggins on becoming | ||
| an Eagle Scout and commend him on this great achievement; and, be | ||
| it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| Eagle Scout Riggins as an expression of high regard from the | ||
| Texas Senate. | ||
