| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes great | ||
| pleasure in recognizing Madeline Meylor of Brazoria County on her | ||
| high school graduation; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Throughout her 12 years of homeschooling, | ||
| Madeline has demonstrated great determination in meeting her | ||
| academic goals; she has enriched her educational experience by | ||
| volunteering at the library and maintaining a book review | ||
| website, and she performed as a principal company member of the | ||
| Galveston Ballet; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Having successfully faced the many challenges of | ||
| a homeschool education, Madeline now embarks on an adventure into | ||
| a world for which she is well prepared and that holds countless | ||
| exciting opportunities for her; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is proud to recognize Madeline | ||
| Meylor on her outstanding achievement; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th | ||
| Legislature, hereby commend Madeline Meylor for her exceptional | ||
| accomplishments and extend to her best wishes for future success | ||
| in all her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| this exemplary young Texan as an expression of esteem from the | ||
| Texas Senate. | ||
