SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 486
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Linda Mitchell, who is retiring from the Office of the
Comptroller of Public Accounts on March 31, 2017, after 13 years
and six months of loyal service; and
WHEREAS, Linda Mitchell is a tax compliance officer in the
Houston Northwest Enforcement Field Office, where she is known
for her superior organizational skills and tax code expertise; and
WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, she has
handled her many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency
and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Linda is an exemplary employee who is respected
and admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the Houston
Northwest Enforcement Field Office will be greatly missed; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend Linda Mitchell on her outstanding
service with the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts and
her many contributions to the state and extend to her sincere
best wishes in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
