SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 466
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the members of the Leadership Fort Worth Class of 2011
on the occasion of their visit to Austin and the State Capitol to
learn more about state government; and
WHEREAS, Leadership Fort Worth is a 10-month program that
offers participants many opportunities to gain greater insight
into important public issues and to meet with leaders who make
crucial decisions on policies that affect their community; and
WHEREAS, The members of Leadership Fort Worth are
concerned citizens who have shown outstanding leadership
abilities and are committed to building an involved citizenry and
a better community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Leadership Fort
Worth Class of 2011 for their civic engagement and extend best
wishes to them for a productive and memorable visit to Austin;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
these outstanding citizens as an expression of high regard from
the Texas Senate.
