| Ricco Diaman Delgado | ||
| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and | ||
| commemorates the life of Ricco Diaman Delgado, who died February | ||
| 25, 2017, at the age of 32; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ricco Delgado was a proud Texas citizen who was | ||
| respected and admired in his community for his many | ||
| achievements; and | ||
| WHEREAS, He was a lifelong resident of McAllen and a 2003 | ||
| graduate of James "Nikki" Rowe High School; he earned a degree | ||
| from Saint Edward's University, and he graduated magna cum laude | ||
| with a law degree from Texas Southern University; he went on to | ||
| practice law as an assistant criminal district attorney for | ||
| Hidalgo County; and | ||
| WHEREAS, He was an avid and skilled outdoorsman who took | ||
| great pleasure in teaching his son, Nathan, the principles and | ||
| joy of ethical hunting and fishing; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A man of compassion, intelligence, and wisdom, he | ||
| gave generously to others, and his natural leadership, his | ||
| charismatic personality, and his enthusiasm for living each day | ||
| to the fullest will not be forgotten by those who were privileged | ||
| to share in his life; and | ||
| WHEREAS, He was a devoted son, brother, and father, and he | ||
| leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by his | ||
| family and many friends; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th | ||
| Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved | ||
| family of Ricco Diaman Delgado; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas | ||
| Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in | ||
| memory of Ricco Delgado. | ||
