	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 435
	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
	recognize the Brenham Children's Chorus on the grand occasion of
	the choir's 15th anniversary; and

	WHEREAS, Founding director Pam Young established the
	Brenham Children's Chorus in 2002; since that time, the
	nonprofit, community-based youth program has brought a wealth of
	opportunities to countless children who have the desire to learn
	more about music and to share their impressive talents with the
	world; and

	WHEREAS, The Brenham Children's Chorus has amazed
	audiences in Brenham and beyond; choral members have performed
	with professional symphonies and collegiate performance groups,
	and they have toured in several states, including Wisconsin,
	Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and Missouri; over the years, the
	chorus has recorded a radio jingle in Nashville and performed in
	the Macy's Parade; and

	WHEREAS, The Brenham Children's Chorus has enjoyed
	artistic and educational success due to the talent and dedication
	of its young members, the help of numerous adults who enjoy
	sharing their love of music, and the unwavering support of the
	Brenham community; the choir's 15th anniversary is indeed cause
	for celebration; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
	Legislature, hereby commend the members and all associated with
	the Brenham Children's Chorus for their many contributions to the
	community and congratulate them on 15 years of success; and, be
	it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
	the chorus as a memento of this special anniversary.
