| WHEREAS, Will Pollard has recently been honored by the Boy | ||
| Scout program for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Will planned, developed, and conducted a service | ||
| project that has benefited his community, and he is recognized as | ||
| an outstanding leader; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Will has brought great honor to himself in earning | ||
| the coveted Eagle Badge, and his family, his troop, his | ||
| community, and his state are justly proud of his great | ||
| accomplishment; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and | ||
| promise, this personable young man advanced through the ranks of | ||
| Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before | ||
| reaching Eagle Scout; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Will has become one of the select few to have | ||
| earned this prestigious honor, and he is a shining example to the | ||
| young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th | ||
| Legislature, hereby congratulate Will Pollard on becoming an | ||
| Eagle Scout and commend him on this great achievement; and, | ||
| be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| Eagle Scout Pollard as an expression of high regard from the | ||
| Texas Senate. | ||
