	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 352
	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
	recognize the BBQ on the Banks of Lake Tawakoni annual barbecue
	cook-off; and

	WHEREAS, The BBQ on the Banks of Lake Tawakoni annual
	barbecue cook-off is sanctioned by the International Barbeque
	Cookers Association as one of the organization's annual state
	cook-offs, and the event is held in June of each year in Quinlan,
	Texas; and

	WHEREAS, Texans are noted for their affinity for barbecue,
	and the Lake Tawakoni competition will bring people together to
	sample the cuisine of some of the best chefs in the state; and

	WHEREAS, The event also includes live music, a raffle, and
	a silent auction, and all proceeds will be donated to the
	Tawakoni South Fire Department; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
	Legislature, hereby commend the citizens of Quinlan for hosting
	the BBQ on the Banks of Lake Tawakoni annual barbecue cook-off
	and extend best wishes for the future to all associated with the
	event; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in honor
	of the BBQ on the Banks of Lake Tawakoni annual barbecue cook-off.
