| WHEREAS, Lawson Spivey has distinguished himself in his | ||
| responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State | ||
| Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch during the summer of 2025 and the 89th | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Spivey has provided | ||
| vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, | ||
| including helping with legislative research, policy analysis, | ||
| and stakeholder engagement, and he has significantly contributed | ||
| to the office's efficiency; in addition to gaining valuable | ||
| experience in the field of public service, he has learned more | ||
| about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of | ||
| the Lone Star State; Mr. Spivey is a student at Baylor | ||
| University; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Lawson Spivey has performed his duties as a | ||
| legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed | ||
| deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th | ||
| Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Lawson Spivey | ||
| for his service as a legislative intern in the office of State | ||
| Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch and extend to him sincere best wishes | ||
| for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Spivey as an expression of high regard from the | ||
| Texas Senate. | ||
