| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
| recognize Dorothy "Dot" Huffman on the grand occasion of her 90th | ||
| birthday; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A woman of great charm and grace, Dorothy Huffman | ||
| is well known for her generosity of spirit, and she is a revered | ||
| citizen of this state; and | ||
| WHEREAS, She has lived through times and experienced | ||
| events that many people only know from history books; her life | ||
| has given her a unique perspective on current events, and there | ||
| is much to be learned from the wisdom she has gained over the | ||
| years; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Huffman has been blessed with a wonderful | ||
| family, which has been a source of much pride and joy for her; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A beloved and respected member of her community, | ||
| Mrs. Huffman is noted for her warmth, her wit, and her wise | ||
| counsel, and she inspires those around her with her enthusiasm | ||
| for living each day to the fullest; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th | ||
| Legislature, hereby pay tribute to Dorothy "Dot" Huffman and | ||
| extend to her best wishes for a memorable 90th birthday | ||
| celebration; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| her as a memento of this milestone in her life. | ||
