| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
| WHEREAS, | ||
| WHEREAS, In gathering together to celebrate the 50th | ||
| anniversary of their graduation, the members of the Class of 1963 | ||
| are expressing their enduring commitment to tradition, loyalty, | ||
| and friendship; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Members of the Class of 1963 played an important | ||
| role in the organization of the Booker T. Washington Alumni | ||
| Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting | ||
| better schools and raising awareness of the principle of giving | ||
| back to the community; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The students of the Class of 1963 have gone on to | ||
| become leaders and productive members of their communities, and | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd | ||
| Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend the members of | ||
| the Class of 1963 of Booker T. Washington High School on their | ||
| many accomplishments and extend to them best wishes for a | ||
| memorable 50-year reunion; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in | ||
| honor of this special event. | ||
