| WHEREAS, The team represented Texas with honor as they | ||
| proudly carried the state's flag in the tournament's opening | ||
| ceremony, and they were awarded a ring and inducted into the | ||
| American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame; team members Jonas Garcia, | ||
| Carson Hauk, Will Johnson, Trey Keel, Coon Lee, Martin Marcian, | ||
| Lane McMaster, Tate McMillan, Noah Pendergrass, Konner Raymond, | ||
| Reese Rodriguez, and Christian Rusk can all take great pride in | ||
| their outstanding performance; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Under the superior leadership and expertise of | ||
| coaches Mark Johnson and Jarrod McMillan, Team Texas developed | ||
| exceptional teamwork and discipline; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Texans everywhere are proud of the members of Team | ||
| Texas for their hard work, their impressive skills, and their | ||
| fine sportsmanship; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| the team as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
