SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 293
WHEREAS, Blake Edward Temple of Troop 441 has recently been
honored by the Boy Scout program for attaining the rank of Eagle
Scout; and
WHEREAS, Blake planned, developed, and conducted a service
project that has benefited his community, and he is recognized as
an outstanding leader; and
WHEREAS, Blake has brought great honor to himself in
earning the coveted Eagle Badge, and his family, his troop, his
community, and his state are justly proud of his great
accomplishment; and
WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
promise, this personable young man advanced through the ranks of
Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before
reaching Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, Blake has become one of the select few who have
earned this prestigious honor, and he is a shining example to the
young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby congratulate Blake Edward Temple on becoming
an Eagle Scout and commend him on this great achievement; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
Eagle Scout Temple as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
