SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 270
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the Tarrant County College District's Trinity River
  Campus East, which has been named one of the best buildings to see
  in Texas; and
 
         WHEREAS,
 
 
 
         WHEREAS, The building was constructed on the Trinity River
  bluff in downtown Fort Worth and was designed by Bing Thom
  Architects with Bennett Benner Petit in Fort Worth; and
 
         WHEREAS, Good architecture has a profound influence on the
  way we live our lives and on our perceptions of the world around
  us; it offers invaluable insights on the attitudes of society
  toward public and private spaces, and this groundbreaking
  building represents the best that today's architecture has to
  offer; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
  Legislature, hereby join the people of Fort Worth in celebrating
  the naming of the Tarrant County College District's Trinity River
  Campus East as one of the best buildings to see in Texas; and, be
  it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the campus as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
