| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
| recognize Stephen Christopher Suprun Jr., who was recently | ||
| elected chairman of the Emergency Medical Services for Children | ||
| National Resource Center Advisory Council; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Christopher Suprun has served his community for | ||
| more than 20 years in both volunteer and paid ranks as a | ||
| firefighter and a paramedic; he was a first responder to the | ||
| attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, and he served Texas | ||
| as a responder to Hurricane Katrina in 2005; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A truly dedicated leader in his field, he is a | ||
| national spokesperson for the Never Forget Foundation, a | ||
| nonprofit organization that teaches emergency preparedness to | ||
| children, and he has published numerous articles related to | ||
| emergency medical services and their delivery; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Christopher Suprun works diligently to ensure a | ||
| bright and healthy future for children in need of emergency | ||
| medical attention, and his work is inspirational to all who | ||
| respond to emergencies; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th | ||
| Legislature, hereby commend Stephen Christopher Suprun Jr. on | ||
| his leadership in all areas of emergency medical services and | ||
| congratulate him on his election as chairman of the Emergency | ||
| Medical Services for Children National Resource Center Advisory | ||
| Council; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
