| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
| recognize all associated with Leadership Lewisville for their | ||
| outstanding efforts to provide an effective leadership program | ||
| and to promote a prosperous future for their community and the | ||
| state; and | ||
| WHEREAS, An initiative of the Lewisville Area Chamber of | ||
| Commerce, Leadership Lewisville is a nine-month community | ||
| leadership program created to identify, educate, and motivate | ||
| future leaders; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The program is facilitated by notable members of | ||
| the local community who provide invaluable information and | ||
| stimulate discussions that help participants develop and polish | ||
| their leadership skills, cultivate new relationships, and gain a | ||
| better understanding of their community's unique needs; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through their efforts to promote a spirit of | ||
| volunteerism and community pride, Leadership Lewisville | ||
| organizers are fostering a more informed and engaged citizenry, | ||
| while at the same time, helping to build a brighter and more | ||
| prosperous future for the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th | ||
| Legislature, hereby commend the administrators, staff, and | ||
| sponsors of Leadership Lewisville for helping to inspire the | ||
| community leaders of tomorrow and extend to all best wishes for | ||
| continued success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the | ||
| organization as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
