SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 207
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Deborah Shaw-Boatner, who is retiring from the Office
of the Comptroller of Public Accounts on February 28, 2013, after
more than 37 years of outstanding service to the state; and
WHEREAS, Deborah began her career in state service in 1972
as an administrative clerk with the Texas State University Center
for Public School Ethnic Studies; through the years, she has
served with a number of state agencies, including director-level
positions at the General Land Office and the Texas Rehabilitation
Commission; and
