SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 140
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Rodolfo Solis Jr.
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
  commemorates the life of Rodolfo "Rudy" Solis Jr., who died
  December 23, 2020, at the age of 47; and
         WHEREAS, Rudy Solis was born on July 4, 1973, and he was a
  lifelong resident of Brownsville; he graduated from Gladys
  Porter High School in 1991; and
         WHEREAS, He went on to earn a degree from The University of
  Texas at Brownsville and to enjoy a fulfilling career as an
  account sales representative for HOLT CAT; he was a loyal and
  devoted parishioner at Christ the King Catholic Church; and
         WHEREAS, He married the love of his life, Aurora
  Gomez-Solis, on December 26, 2002; they were blessed with four
  children, Paola Cicel, Karina Alejandra, Diego Alejandro, and
  Daniela, who were a source of much pride and joy for him; and
         WHEREAS, Rudy was noted for his love of the outdoors and
  was an avid golfer and fisherman; he had a kind and loving heart
  and was a devoted son, husband, and father, and he leaves behind
  memories that will be cherished forever by his family and
  countless friends; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
  Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
  family of Rodolfo Solis Jr.; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of Rodolfo Solis Jr.
