SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 12
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Marvin R. "Randy" Billings, who is retiring from the
Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts after nine years of
outstanding service; and
WHEREAS, Randy Billings has served the comptroller's
office with distinction as an appraiser in the Property Tax
Assistance Division; and
WHEREAS, Throughout his career in state service, he has
been noted for his superior organizational skills and property
tax expertise; and
WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, he has handled his many
responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and dedication, and
his generosity and thoughtfulness have made him a truly valued
co-worker in his division; and
WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, he is respected and
admired by his colleagues, and his presence at the Office of the
Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend Marvin R. Billings on his exceptional
service to the people of Texas as an employee of the Office of the
Comptroller of Public Accounts and extend to him best wishes for
continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
