SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 11
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Cornerstone Fellowship Church of Galveston County on
the occasion of its sixth pastor and church appreciation
anniversary, which is being celebrated January 18, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Cornerstone Fellowship Church was founded January
18, 2009, by Pastor Matthew J. Mouton; under his wise guidance
and outstanding leadership, the church has continued to grow and
to play a vital role in the life of the community; and
WHEREAS, Through the years, the church has ministered
faithfully to the temporal and spiritual needs of countless
people; and
WHEREAS, Cornerstone Fellowship Church has become a source
of strength for its members in times of hardship and bereavement
and a place of fellowship in times of joy and celebration; and
WHEREAS, The church's sixth anniversary is an opportunity
for all to celebrate its many contributions to the community and
its commitment to providing enlightenment and hope to area
citizens; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
Legislature, hereby extend to the clergy and members of
Cornerstone Fellowship Church best wishes for a memorable sixth
pastor and church appreciation anniversary celebration; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the church as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
