A JOINT RESOLUTION
  proposing a constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right of
  individuals to refuse medical treatments and to access public
  accommodations.
         BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Article I, Texas Constitution, is amended by
  adding Section 36 to read as follows:
         Sec. 36.  RIGHT TO REFUSE MEDICAL TREATMENT; ACCESS TO
  PUBLIC ACCOMMODATIONS. (a) Each individual residing in this state
  has the right to refuse any medical treatment, including a
  procedure, vaccine, medical device, or prophylactic, and a person
  may not interfere with or impede that right in any manner.
         (b)  A person may not restrict or deny an individual's access
  to public accommodations based on the individual's exercise of the
  right guaranteed under Subsection (a) of this section to refuse a
  medical treatment.
         SECTION 2.  This proposed constitutional amendment shall be
  submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 7, 2023.
  The ballot shall be printed to permit voting for or against the
  proposition: "The constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right
  of individuals to refuse medical treatments and to access public
  accommodations."
