| WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 1082 has been adopted by the house of | ||
| representatives and the senate; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The bill contains technical and typographical | ||
| errors that should be corrected; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED by the 82nd Legislature of the State of Texas, That | ||
| the enrolling clerk of the senate be instructed to make the | ||
| following correction: | ||
| (1) Strike SECTION 5 of the bill and substitute the | ||
| following: | ||
| SECTION 5. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
| a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
| provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
| Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
| Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | ||
