relating to the authority of a district clerk to post official and | ||
legal notices by electronic display. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 51, Government Code, is | ||
amended by adding Section 51.3032 to read as follows: | ||
Sec. 51.3032. ELECTRONIC DISPLAY OF OFFICIAL AND LEGAL | ||
NOTICES BY DISTRICT CLERK. A district clerk may post an official | ||
and legal notice by electronic display, instead of posting a | ||
physical document, in the manner provided for a county clerk by | ||
Section 82.051, Local Government Code. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
